A Piece of Ashland History! This historic Ashland home was designed by Frank C Clark for himself in 1904. It was purchased by the current owners grandfather, George Taverner who played a prominent roll in Ashland history,in 1907. Many parties were held in this home for the original actors and supporters of the Shakespeare Festival. The majestic looking home sits on .34 of an acre right in the heart of town. The setting is extraordinary with lots of beautiful spaces to enjoy. It is certainly livable as is but this would also make a wonderful restoration project for someone! A history of the family is attached to this listing. If you are an Ashland history buff you will enjoy reading it.
