The mens' sober living house at Woodbine and Emilie provide a drug and alcohol-free environment men can use as a jumping off point for the rest of their recovering lives. They begin by forming healthy relationships with other residents and are required to attend meetings and retain a sponsor that is not a resident of their respective house. House meetings are required as well as the completion of chores which includes a rotating schedule of cooking meals for their housemates. The purpose is to highlight the virtues of responsibilty and accountability. The residents are subject to random drug and alcohol testing. This clean and safe environment allows individuals to form their own program of sobriety. Our mens' houses are about residence while recovery happens in the individuals choice of 12-Step program.
